With the heat wave that we all experienced last week it was just to hot to even think about turning the stove on to cook supper after a long day at work so I decided to do something different with premade pulled pork bbq.

I bought Carolina pulled pork bbq at our local Frontier Meats at the Dayton Market on my regular shopping day (which is Saturday) and I also got Black Mountain extra sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded from the Cheese Placed at the Dayton Market. We already had seasoned French fries in the freezer from Aldi’s and Kinder’s brand Honey Hot bbq sauce in the fridge.

My husband heated the French fries in the air fryer and the bbq in the microwave. We then put on each plate some of the fries, topped that with some of the bbq and then put cheese on top. The heat from the fries and bbq melted the cheese and then we poured as much bbq sauce as we wanted on top of all of that.

It was absolutely delicious!!

Feel free to use your favorite BBQ, cheese and BBQ sauce.

1/2 – 1 bag seasoned French fries (or your favorite kind)

1/2 pound premade BBQ (your favorite kind)

1/2 – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite kind)

Favorite BBQ sauce, as much as you want

Heat French fries in air fryer on 400 for 10 minutes or until as crisp as you like.

Heat BBQ in microwave for 2 minutes or until heated through.

Divide fries between plates, top with BBQ and cheese. Drizzle or pour on BBQ sauce.

Also, good with coleslaw on top of everything.
